A sand clock inspired by Japanese zen gardens

Studio Ayaskan recently released this gorgeous clock inspired by Japanese zen gardens and their perfectly raked beds of sand. The sand clock helps you visualize time passing with gorgeous ripples in the sand, or by erasing the ripples. It’s not digital, it’s not the most accurate clock in the world, but there is some poetry to it that you can’t create with digital products.
