British artist Su Blackwell enjoys illustrating books, but she does it in a rather unusual way. She creates pop-up scenes that emerge from the book and show you what’s happening in the story. She works with paper taken from the book’s pages to create some sculptures that are truly stunning by their complexity.
Lighting also plays a big role in her work and make it look more dream-like. The only downside about her art is that you can’t read the books anymore, but at least you get to dream about the story.
