As designers, we love when unexpected glitches give you some beautiful results. At least, that’s the only way for me to explain why design schools are full of students doing weird stuff and experimenting with all kind of ways to produce designs.
Spanish graphic designer Ruben Montero did this kind of type experiments with his scanner to reproduce what looks like distorted photocopies. Using quotes and litterary texts, he played with the letters, destroyed it and manipulated it to see what the designs would look like. He released a series of posters with the results of his experiments.
